【摘要】:Thispracticeisintendedtobeageneralguidelineforrepetitivetesting,safeconductoftests,andaccuratedatacollectionforinflatablerestraints.Thispracticemaybeusedbythepurchaserandthesuppliertoestablishthecriteriabywhichinflatablerestraintmoduleswillbetestedbythesuppliertodeterminewhetheralotofmaterialisacceptableforshipmenttothepurchaser.Unlessotherwisespecifiedbyagreementbetweenthepurchaserandthesupplier,thispracticeshallconstitutethetestconditions,procedures,andequipmentbywhichinflatablerestraintmodulesaredeployedfortesting.Itisintendedtobeusedasaguidelineinestablishingawrittenmaterialspecificationorequivalentagreementbetweenthepurchaserandthesupplier.Thespecificationmaydeviatefromthepracticesdescribedhereinwhen(basedonexperience)considerationsoffabricproperties,materialhandlingequipment,orinflatablerestraintsystemdesigndictateotherwise.1.1Thispracticedescribestheproceduresandconditionsusedtoevaluatethephysicalperformanceofinflatablerestraintmodulesandmodulecomponentsduringandafterdeployment.1.2Thephysicalperformancecharacteristicsthatmaybeobtainedbythispracticeareinternalcushionpressuresdeterminedbyinstrumentation,cushiongeometriesdeterminedbyhigh-speedphotography,andmaterialintegritydeterminedbyvisualinspection.1.3Thispracticeisapplicabletodriverandpassengersideinflatablerestraintmodules.1.4Proceduresandapparatusotherthanthosestatedinthispracticemaybeusedbyagreementbetweenthepurchaserandthesupplierwiththespecificdeviationsfromthepracticeacknowledgedinthereport.1.5ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentoftheother.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
