【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversanultrasonicangle-beamprocedureandacceptancestandardsforthedetectionofinternaldiscontinuitiesnotlaminarinnatureandofsurfaceimperfectionsinasteelplate.Thisspecificationisintendedforuseonlyasasupplementtospecificationswhichprovidestraight-beamultrasonicexamination.Aninternaldiscontinuitythatislaminarinnatureisonewhoseprincipalplaneisparalleltotheprincipalplaneoftheplate.1.2IndividualsperformingexaminationsinaccordancewiththisspecificationshallbequalifiedandcertifiedinaccordancewiththerequirementsofthelatesteditionofASNTSNT-TC-1Aoranequivalentacceptedstandard.Anequivalentstandardisonewhichcoversthequalificationandcertificationofultrasonicnondestructiveexaminationcandidatesandwhichisacceptabletothepurchaser.1.3Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundunitsorSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetext,theSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththespecification.
